  I did not have a very good experience at this salon. --Appointment for a blow out was scheduled for 1pm, but stylist did not arrive until 1:15. --when washing my hair, the wash bowl kept creeping up. Water poured all down my back causing my clothing to get wet. --stylist kept getting water on my face and in my ears when washing my hair. Its like there was an issue with controlling the water. --stylist left shampoo in my hair. I noticed it when I was sitting in the stylists chair and touched my hair and got suds on my hand. So she had to re-rinse my hair. --Actual blow out did not meet any expectations AT ALL. My hair was flat, and without any volume. When I asked her why it was so flat, she said "round brushes do that sometimes" She tried to tease it up a bit, but it just looked odd because the rest of my hair was so flat. --Additionally, the texture of my hair was way off. Like it was sticky, and my hair clumped together -- there wasn't any movement. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if there was shampoo still left in it and that was causing the issue. --blow out and shampoo took well over an hour. I ended up just going home and trying to fix my hair with some dry shampoo and trying to add volume by using root booster, but it was still a mess. I do not recommend this salon.

  I cannot express enough how blessed and grateful I am to have both Shaunna and Laura as my friends! I have had the privilege to work with Shaunna and her team in the past as a model for the annual Wedding Fair that takes place at the JW Marriott. Every year, Chairish the Day teams together with Diamond and Dreams, Destiny’s Bridal and Impression Bridal to make the models become beautiful brides for the runway fashion show. I had seen the love and care Chairish the Day puts into making the models look so stunning, not to mention myself included. A few months prior to my own wedding I had reached out to Shaunna to hire her and her services and to inquire information about hair extensions. She then referred me to Daily Beauty supply to purchase not only inexpensive but high quality extensions. Once I bought my extensions, I had set a trial bridal hair and makeup appointment with both Shaunna and her makeup artist Laura. These ladies where beyond sweet and talented. They treated me with the best salon experience I have ever had in my life! Both Shaunna and Laura where so sweet and gentle while styling my hair with extensions and applying my makeup. The result was beautiful and stunning. For my bridal look, I requested my hair down with big curls and a natural glowing makeup. I had received so many compliments while running errands the rest of the day. On the day of my wedding which took place on a Sunday morning in early November, these two ladies arrived early and prepared. They had such a positive attitude and made me feel so special. During our time, together we talked and laughed! It felt so good to be surrounded by family and friends in the bridal suite! This was the second time in their care that I felt not only appreciated but pampered too! Once I had slipped into my gown and my mother’s cathedral length veil, I felt and looked like a beautiful bride! Looking at the mirror with my completed look, it literally took my breath away. I struggled not to cry and ruin my makeup. I never felt so beautiful in my life before! Many of my family members and friends got emotional seeing me for I looked just like my mother on her wedding day. See, my mother had passed away a few years before. She was a beautiful woman inside and out and I know she was with us in spirit. So, receiving these compliments on my wedding day meant so much! Once again, I am so grateful and indebted to these ladies for coming out on their Sunday morning and spending it with me. I love these two so much! For anyone considering Chairish the Day for their Wedding or formal event I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!!!!! Looking back at our photos and wedding movie I still believe that my bridal look was not only breathtaking but made me see a beautiful version of myself that I had not seen before. Thank you so much ladies I LOVE YOU!!!!!!
