  I'm not so much a tool guy but for amateur cosplaying I gotta say that Lowe's has been instrumental with the projects I've been working on. The staff is very helpful and I can find whatever it is that I'm looking for. Plus it's pretty affordable so I don't have to worry about breaking the bank either since I'm a poor college kid.

  I've has the worst experience with Lowes and my carpet purchase. It's been 3.5 weeks since I began my quest to buy carpet. I waited for a room measurement, which I provided them with. I waited for the order to come in, took 9 days. Then I waited for the install call. Next, I waited for the date to come when they did the install. Once they came, a contractor was painting in a closet and the subcontractor that was supposed to install the carpet left without saying a word. Called me later in the afternoon to reschedule what I thought was already installed and guess what they said. Another week. After going through the manager (elroy) I was promised I would be called back in the morning. No calls, I called Lowes again. Was told the person was to busy for 4 straight hours to return my phone call, and that the install was going to now be a day longer than what I was told the day before. I guess Lowes doesn't care about losing 2k carpet orders. This took place at the Rim store in San Antonio and with the subcontractor Angell's flooring. Terrible customer service and I will not be returning to Lowes. I will shop at home depot from this point forth and even wait longer for my carpet because I will not reward Lowes a single penny of my money.

  I spend alot of money at home improvement places on rent houses, home and side job projects. Very very rude customer service. Would not even honor my military discount since I am not active duty. This was a first anywhere. Over 10%, on a 20 dollar purchase,they lost thousands because I and hopefully anyone who reads this speads the word and takes their money elsewhere. I'm heartbroken as a vet, this was the service I got from the grumpy old woman at the register today and from management. MANAGEMENT.....?.?!!! JUST COST THE LOWES COMPANY THOUSANDS THAT I SPEND EACH YEAR THERE OVER 10% OF A LESS THAN $20.00 PURCHASE, SALES TAX.? ... good job on that one idiots. Give the cranky old lady a raise while you are at it. I am even returning the 1000 Sq ft of flooring I bought a couple weeks ago and buying from home depot now. Keep on liking my reviews and get the word out. F. THIS PLACE.
